The Guesthouse Casa Cardinal, following the concept of his owners, is now structurated in such a way that you can experience a time-travel, using your imagination, in 3 different classical periods:
- Start your imaginary experience with a room from the ground floor and you will be charmed by the taste of the classical period of XVII th century: Ludovic the XIV th furniture and a relaxing atmosphere of this classical period as well.
- After a few days, step to the first floor and you will be surrounded by the neo baroque Napoleon I interior design of the XIXth century, decorative arts and golden ages spirit. The furniture was brought to Guesthouse Casa Cardinal from the city of Alexandria, on the shores of the Mediteranean Sea.
You can also have your breakfast at the Atrium, mezzanine area, where you will discover the same furniture and the same epochal atmosphere. - Step for a while to the rooms from the attic floor, where the owners of the guesthouse tried to create the atmosphere of the interwar period.
At your departure, don't forget to say "Goodbye" to Mr. Adrian Chirca and suggest him to invite you for a cup of cofee in his office, located at the highest point of the building, where you can admire for a few moments a authentic Biedermeyer desk, such a rare collector's piece...
Have a nice time in the breakfast area located at the ground floor, where you will be greeted with a smile by our personnel, making you remember of your special vacation spent here.
If you want to visit the "Church in the Pit" (Biserica din Groapă), built in Baroque style and decorated with rich ornaments and interior painting belonging to well known Nicolae Brana; or if you want to visit the rich history surroundings, guesthouse Casa Cardinal offers accommodation, as well as an atrium with mini-conference room with a view to the old church and to the legendary cemetery.
In fact, all rooms and suites have a spectacular view to the "Church in the Pit" and downtown area, with gardens, benches and modern buildings, projected on the silhouette of the old historical center. Casa Cardinal is located at a pleasant stroll of less than 10 minutes from the city center and a few minutes from the City Hall.
